STRING CHEESERS CAME TO TOWN

Last night at the historic McDonald Theater in downtown Eugene, The String Cheese Incident did a benefit concert to raise money to help pay off the costs of the Kesey statue recently unveiled in the center of town. Your intrepid journalist of the skypies, Capn Skyp hisself, was in attendance with trusty digital camera.

Called upon to declaim upon the stage of the wonders of his varied and strange adventures with Ken Kesey, the ol' Capn deported hisself with gaiety and bluster, joined in handsomely with the String Cheese Incident, and thereby making a epochal statement out of an incremental incident.

A boisterous, rambunctious happy crowd filled the old theater to capacity and the dancing never stopped; spilled out into the lobby and the sidewalk outside curbside and all aroundside.

Michael on what I thought was a guitar, but was a mandolin he played like a guitar. And on drums, Travis, he never lets up.

Bass player is Keith. Guitar player is Billy

Kyle wails on the keyboards and in the bar the drinkers watch on TV.

Babbs and Michael strike a pose and three of the other members join in.

Kathy and Gregg are fans as are the whole crowd, rocking out.
